Kaharlyk

A settlement existed in the days of Kyivs'ka Rus'. Was burned by Tatars and rebuilt in the second half of the XIV century. In the beginning of XIV century is center of prinsipality. There is fortress was built in 1644.

The soviet emblem

The soviet emblem was confirmed at November, 11, 1989. A shield per fale azure and vert. There is or bow accompanied two or shugar heads with argent tops in the field. In the canton a natural-colored chestnut branch in an azure field. There is word "KAHARLYK" in the chief of cartouche and crossed sickle with hammer in a base. The author is B.Shulevs'kyi.
