Alupka

It is known since 960. In XIII century it was part of feudal princedom Feofora, since XIV century belonged to genoeses.

The soviet emblem

It was confirmed at 1988 by the decision of executive committee and session of city council. In the brown shield with an argent-gules fringing and top with three merlons is a silhouette of Alupka palace-museum arch. In the arch above azure water with argent waves on a background of a violet silhouette of Aj-Petri mountain is or rising sun with young vert runaway of a plant. In the top is the azure city name.
