Nova Kahovka

It was found in 1950 by the Kahovs'ka hydroelectric power station construction.

It was confirmed at 26.06.1968 by the decision N206 of city council executive committees. The board per fess by gules and azure. In the top part is or military cap with a sabre. In the bottom is the stylized image of hydroelectric power station as argent fillet fess and seven argent fillet pales. On it is half or gear with a or branch of a grapes. Under pales are two argent wavy fillet fess. The author is J.Ravich.
