Illychivs`k

It was founded in XVIII ctntury by ukrainian, greek and german settlers. Old name is Byhovy Hutory (hills near Buh river). Now it known how port on Illychivs'k-Varna ferry.

The modern emblem

The modern emblem was confirmed at 1998. In an azure field with dark blue base is cargo steamer, a way to which lights by argent ray argent-gules lighthouse. In the base are three row of argent waves. A shield laid on anchor and twined by darkly blue-yellow ribbon with superscription "ILLYCHIVS'K". The author is A.Gorbenko.
